Thomas Minick affectionately known as “Tommy” was born in Saluda South Carolina on
February 9, 1934.
He received his education form Rosenwald High School in Saluda South Carolina
After joining the army at the age of 18, he met and married the love of his life Mary
In 1956 and relocated to Miami in 1963.
In the union there were one child born, Theresa Minick.
Throughout the years, he worked at General Motors, where he retired as a diesel Mechanic and
Started running A1 Truck and Trailers who was a contractor for the post office, transporting mail from
Monroe to palm beach county and later retired a second time in 2012. He also loved to Deep Sea Fish
every chance he could got.
Thomas was proceeded in death by his wife, Mary Minick, his mother and father John Ellen Minick, four brothers Milliage, Robert, Herbert
Lamar Minick, Three Sisters Geraldine Graham, Elizabeth Davis and Essie Dukes.
He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter Theresa Minick, one son Roger Minick, six grandchildren Joshua Minick, Vick, Kayla, Jasmine, Wendell Jr. Curry
And Javon Powell. Five great grands and a host of loving relatives and friends.
