Shalonda Anatakia Dennis

Shalonda Dennis (Tayta) was born on November 24, 1975 to Lynette Dorsett and Michael Dennis. She was the second of 5

children. Shalonda was educated in the Miami-Dade County School System at Poinciana Elementary,

Henry H. Filer Middle School and Miami Northwestern. Shalonda was a virtuous woman, who stood her grounds for her morals and

values. She was known to be brutally honest, yet always willing to lend a helping hand. Although her health was
failing, she continued to grow strong giving her all to her kids and grandkids whom she loved very dearly.

Shalonda was called home to be with the Lord on July 18, 2023. She was preceded in death by her brothers Cedric and Russell
Dorsett, grandmother Lillie Mae Dorsett, aunts-Fannie Mae Frances and Gwendolyn Dorsett, uncles-Russell Bailey and Leroy Dorsett.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Tamaires Redding and Tamaria Folger and a son Kamarion Folger, grandchildren-Marquis Gage Jr,
Morgan Gage and Autymn Crummie, Mother Lynette Dorsett, brothers-Michael Dennis Jr. and Harry Dorsett, godmother-Rita Ham,
nieces Santravia, Maria, Mikayla, and Taniya, .nephews-Michael and Malik, cousin-Joseph English and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
