PERCY NICHOLS JR. Obituary

Percy Nichols Jr., born on April 29, 1962, in Miami, Florida, was the youngest child of the late Geneva Nichols and the late Percy Nichols Sr. He lived a life filled with diverse experiences and meaningful connections.

After graduating from American Senior High School in 1981, Percy excelled in both football and wrestling. His athletic pursuits continued at Mankato State University, where he played football. Returning home, he crossed paths with two women: Sharon Armstrong, with whom he had a son named Bruce Nichols, and Nikia Miller, who gave him a daughter named Jasmine Miller. Percy’s life was marked by hard work and versatility; he worked as a bouncer and a handyman.

On March 13, 2024, at 12:16 A.M., Percy answered a higher calling and left this earthly realm.

Percy Nichols Jr. was more than a name; he was a devoted father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. His legacy lives on through his children: Bruce Nichols and Jasmine Miller, and his grandchildren: Keyshawn Miller and Kehlani Miller. Among his siblings, he leaves behind Randy and Bruce Nichols, Barry Nelson, Vendaray Frazier, and Dondrey Nelson.  His other siblings include the memory of Edward Buster Nelson Jr. (Lynette David deceased) Beyond his immediate family, Percy touched the lives of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors. In his own unique way, Percy Nichols Jr. made a lasting impact on those around him. May he rest in peace.
