MARTHA TAYLOR

Martha Ann Moore Taylor was born December 23,1940, in Blythe Georgia to the late Relia Whitley and
Charlie C. Moore who proceeds her in death.

Martha attended Georgia public schools, Doyle Road Grammar school and Floyd Gram High school.

Growing up, her family acknowledged her by Short or Moe. Martha was raised up in Doyle Road &
Springhill Baptist Church. She had a passion for all type things. In her younger years, she played
basketball (which was her favorite past time), she would help counsel at her old middle school, and she
would also help in the kitchen of her old school as well. Of all the many talents Martha had, basketball
was her favorite. Martha and her sister Anne would go down to the park where Martha would spend
countless hours playing ball. Around the age of 18, Martha Moore relocated to South Miami, Fl along
with her sisters Carrie and Elise. When Martha and her siblings came to Florida, they needed work, so
they worked in the fruit fields where Martha eventually met her late husband L.C. Taylor. Martha and
L.C proceeded to get married and have seven beautiful children. Anyone who knew Martha, knew she
was a sweetheart and would give you the clothes off her back. She had such a beautiful spirit. Martha
would feed and house the world if she could. She never turned her back on anyone, if you needed help,
a place to stay, a hot plate of food, clothes on your back or just a listening ear, she was always there. She
was full of life and believed in our father in heaven up until her last breath. She was the type of person
to always see the good and make the best in any situation.

In the wee hours of the morning on May 22,2023, God called home his sweet angel Martha Taylor.
Martha is proceeded in death by her loving children Penny (Arthur), Annetta (Mike), David.
Martha is survived by her loving children who has countless memories of her, Willie Moore, Kerrie
Taylor (Shameka), Jackie Simmons (Jermaine) & Ewanda Taylor (Janice). Martha also leaves behind her
beautiful grandchildren; Noid, Noel, Karolyn, Xangenise, Troy, Quinnesha, Dwight, Jermaine,
Antyquonshia, Quaneisha, Raymond, Tremaine, Moesha, Miracle, Eric, Keyera, Armani & Khalil. She also
has a host great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
