MARK HALL

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can
steal.
Mark Hall was born on October 4, 1959, to Barbara Hall-Holmes and the late
Herbert Hall. Mark peacefully, with his family by his side, departed this life to
reunite with his father and the Lord his Savior on June 23, 2023. He obtained his
education through the Dade County School Systems, graduating from Killian High
School.
Right after high school, Mark worked with his father as a contractor and later was
certified as a window specialist. Mark was strong willed and stubborn at times, but
he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was generous,
loyal, brave and had an intense love for his mother. Although miles apart, Mark
communicated every morning with his mother and every word meant so much to
her. He was clever and full to the brim with knowledge gained through all his life
experiences: contractor- he could fix or build anything; Cook- he was a grille
master; and dancer- he could move!
Mark was a firm believer in God and had a strong faith which made it easier for
him to continue his journey of sharing the good news about Jesus. Mark was a
member of Rebirth of Destiny Church under the leadership of Overseer L.
McCullum. He will be remembered for all the love he shared with his friends and
family. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it. When his
time came, he carried himself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who
went before him. He will be missed.
Mark will be immensely missed by his friend of thirty-two years, Dwight Smith
and will forever be cherished in the lives of his: Mother: Barbara Hall-Holmes;
Father: (predeceased) Herbert Hall; Stepfather: Harry Holmes; 2 nd Mother:
(predeceased) Martha Smith; Daughters: Latoya and Tomasina; Son: Sharwyn
Matthews; Brothers; Ricky Murphy, Curtis Smith, Thaddeus Smith and Rudy
Colbert (brother from another mother) Sisters: Chenita Pinkins, Sindortha
Randolph, Sue Thomas (like a sister) and Sharise Cobbs (Like a sister); Aunt:
Carletha Howell; God-kids: Nehemiah Roberson, Nathaniel Roberson , Tykiera
Robertson, Tyeisha Robinson, Taray Brown and Tyrell Whims; a special cousin,
Darlene Howell, a Special friend, Sharon Roberson (Gang Gang) and a host of
close cousins, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
