A Time To Be Born: In the year 1990 on February 26th, Ramona Martin and
Robert Williams welcome their child Dorothy Lavern Martin, into God’s wonderful
world.
A Time To Be Taught: Entering her childhood years “Pooh Pooh”, as she was
affectionally known to everyone, attended public schools in the Miami-Dade
County Public School System.
A Time To Laugh: Pooh-Pooh had a personality no one would forget. Pooh-Pooh
was a comedian, she loved to make everyone laugh. Intelligent, bubbly, brave, bold,
happy-go-lucky, and a daredevil that was Pooh-Pooh. She loved fashion, whenever
she would walk into a room, she was often asked “Girl, where are you going with
that outfit” or told “You’re wearing that!” All she would do is laugh and sometimes
give you a twirl.
A Time Of Peace: Pooh-Pooh answered the call of God on Tuesday, March 19,
2024. She is with our Heavenly Father in her new and eternal home, rejoicing
forever more with many of her loved ones.
A Time To Mourn: Left to cherish her beautiful memories are; Mother: Ramona
Martin, Father: Robert Williams, Stepfather: Tarek Ismail, Siblings: Miesha Dansby,
Jasmen Martin, and Kareem Ismail, Grandmothers: Dorothy Curington and
Elizabeth Williams, Aunts: Penny Yates, Nichol Martin, Denise William, and Katura
Pratt, Uncles: Kenneth King, Bryan Martin, Bobby Williams and Antowan Yates,
Great Aunts: Donna and Janice Curington and Geneva, Godson: De’Mori Everett,
special friends: Shakira Smith and Nye Washington and many cousins and friends.
