In Loving Memory
On a Sunny Day of May 21, 2023, God called his precious child to live where there is no pain or no suffering.
Curtis “Pookie” Lee Murphy was born in Marian, Alabama on August 15, 1958, to the late Robert and Alma Mae Murphy who precedes him in death. “Pookie” later relocated to Miami, Florida where he received his education from Miami Dade County Public School System. He graduated from Miami Northwestern High School. “Pookie” was a very hard worker as a carpenter until he was called home. He will always be remembered by his funny jokes, caring heart and the love he had for others.
Curtis leaves to mourn: his beautiful daughter Mindy McCall, and her husband (Joe). Sons: Tavarius Osborne and Steven Osborne. Grandchildren, Tavarius Osborne Jr, Tiana McCall, Tabitha McCall, Tamia Osborne, Lyric Osborne and Antonio Osborne.

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one,
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when day is gone,
Of happy times and laughing time, and bright and sunny days,
I’d like tears of those who grieve to day before the sun,
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
