CHERYL JONES

On June 8, 1962, A bouncing baby girl was born to Lerou McKinney Sr and Carolyn Monroe. Growing up
Cheryl was a real free spirit and very outspoken Cheryl love life so much she always kept a smile on her
face for good times and for the bad times. She attended Dade County public schools on June 17, 1981,
she graduated from Miami Jackson Senior High with the B+ average after high school Cheryl worked
different fast food restaurants as a cashier, she loved her three sons Okeshi, Ira and Keithian McKinney.
She had a strong leader in her life, especially the late Albertha Strong. In 1999 she met Remus Jones Jr.
January 24, 2000, she married Remus Jones Jr, Cheryl always kept God in her mind and her song and in
her heart. In 2010 Cheryl made her mind up to return back to her church Antioch Missionary Baptist
Church where she kept pressing her way through, she had faith in God, 2011 she joined the S.S Choir
where loved singing her way through, On May 14, 2014, Cheryl went back into the water.

don't bring me any flowers because I won't be here to see them, and I won't be here to smell them.
Don't cry over me, just think of me the way I was. But I’ve gone into another room where there's no
more pain no more suffering, I’m in a better place now I'm home with my God. Everybody look up and
