Adell Thomas was born to the late Cleveland and Joesphine Walker on September 28, 1946, in Marion Alabama, she was one of nine children. She received her educational upbringing in the Perry County Public School system. Adell was very adventurous. Knowing Marion, Alabama was too small for her big personality, She left in search of a better life. She wanted so much more for her family than Alabama had to offer. Her search took her to Miami, Florida where she lovingly made her home in the Brownsub community. She confessed hope in Christ and joined New Saint Mark Missionary Baptist church.
She was the proud mother of Nine Children: Delphine Johnson (Lorenzo) Willie (Geneva) and Jacqueline Walker, Cornelius (Malisa), Tyrone, Polly, Christopher, Kimberly, and Antiona Thomas, all of whom she loved and adored. She dedicated her life to ensuring they e=were not only well taken care of but also protected, loved, and valued. She was a wise mother, who taught them so much about life. She was ecstatic to become a grandmother and cherished her beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Adell was known for her bubbly personality and positive spirit. She always had a smile and conversation with a stranger. Her infectious smile would light up the room. She was a people’s person who made friends wherever she went and made lasting connections and friendships with many people in the community over the years.
