Obituary

Vernon Edward Jefferson

was born on March 8,1964, to the late

Eddie and Lillie Mae Jefferson, in Miami, Florida.

He received his education in Miami Dade County Public Schools

Vernon received the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior

under the tutelage of his sister, Missionary, Christine Jefferson.

Vernon was loved by many and was known

as Vernon, Dee, Jake, and even friend.

He was truly loyal and a dedicated Dallas Cowboy fan

and didn’t miss a game that was televised.

You would always hear him cheering for

Tony Dorestt, Emmitt Smith, Dak Prescott and Cee Dee Lamb.

To know Vernon was to love him.

He loved music, dancing, eating, talking

and fellowshipping with people. Most of all he enjoyed

spending time with his family and friends.

If you encountered Vernon on his daily journey, I’m sure

he greeted you with hello, a smile or even, a wave.

On August 2, 2026, the sun didn’t rise upon Vernon.

He left his heart and memories with all who love him: Sisters, Tangela,

Christine, Genise, and Sabrina. One Sister Wanda Felicia Stackhouse

(deceased). Brothers: Eddie Jr., Derrick (Trina), Troy Davis and a host

of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunties, and friends.

On Sunday morning August 2, 2026, at 12:09 am Vernon took his

final breath, and God summoned his spirit home
