Richard was married to the late Mary Lee Redden. Devoted Single/Parent Grandfather to his grandchildren whom he raised: Ashley, Idanmi and
Cierra. Richard provided housing for many that was down on their luck Sisters: Late Florene Parson (Late Samuel Parson), Pastor Mary Morris(Ulysses), Mother
Elizabeth Mortimer(Late Leonard Mortimer) and Late Mother Frances Mortimer (Late Rev. J.Mortimer)
