Raushanah Princecss
Diamond Johnson
Oct 16, 1991 — Aug 27, 2025
Raushanah Rochelle Johnson, affectionately known as "Princess Diamond," was born on October 16, 1981, in South Florida to proud parents Harold and Rochelle Johnson. She was the firstborn of six children and carried the honor and responsibility of being the eldest sister to her four sisters and one brother. From the very beginning, Raushanah's light was undeniable. Nurses marveled at her beauty as a baby, and her mother often recalled how she brought with her the gift of unconditional love. Raushanah grew up with a deep love for the Lord and a devotion to her family. As the eldest, she naturally stepped into the role of protector and guide. Her siblings admired her leadership, her spirit, and her ability to make everyone feel cared for and seen. She cherished peace, order, and beauty, and her free spirit flowed like rushing waters, shaping and inspiring those around her. She was homeschooled from kindergarten through 12th grade in South Florida, where her gifts for creativity, leadership, and determination had room to grow and shine. By the age of sixteen, Raushanah organized her own fashion show in Hollywood, Florida, securing sponsorships from local boutiques, teaching young models how to walk with confidence, and showcasing her gift for bringing people together. She was crowned Miss Teen Florida Hollywood and went on to compete for the title of Miss Florida. Raushanah's journey led her to answer a higher call: she joined the United States Army in her early twenties, serving her country with honor and courage. She completed multiple tours overseas, including Afghanistan, and though she carried the weight of service and the unseen wounds of PTSD, she stood with resilience and grace. She was later honorably discharged, leaving behind the mark of a true patriot who gave of herself selflessly. Beyond her service, Raushanah was a gifted poet, model, creator, and entrepreneur. Her entrepreneurial spirit was unmatched, she launched businesses that ranged from custom tshirts and mugs to cleaning services and creative projects that uplifted those who were hurting. She was fearless in her ideas and unafraid of starting over, inspiring others to dream boldly and live freely. Her hobbies reflected her love for life. She enjoyed singing, sewing, modeling, and writing poetry from the depths of her heart. Her words carried honesty, healing, and beauty, touching everyone who read or heard them. Her family hopes to one day compile her writings into a collection that will continue to share her voice with the world. Raushanah lived with passion, loved deeply, and gave generously. Her joy could be felt in her smile, her laughter, and her presence. She was more than a daughter, sister, veteran, and entrepreneur, she was a light, a force, and a blessing to everyone who knew her.
