Raheem Jamal which according to Islamic translation means merciful and handsome,
was born June 13, 1993, in Miami, Fl to the Late Sophia Jackson and Steve Stevens.
The only child born to his mother Raheem was her pride and joy. Due to life's
unforeseen circumstances his mother Sophia would pass away 6 months later.

Raheem was embraced by his great- grandmother and grandmother and Uncle Imani
who showered him with love and affection leaving many to say they SPOILED HIM ��.
However, that was simply their special way of loving him through life's hard times and
transitions.

Raheem's place amongst his family was a special one as he was the 1 st of many titles.
The first great- great grandchild, the first great-grandchild, the only grandchild to his
grandmother and the only child to his mother. From the moment he was born Raheem
held a special place amongst the Reddick family.
Rudy, as he was known to his friends, grew up in the Liberty City area and was
educated in the Miami-Dade County Public School System. It is said that he shared a
special bond with his friends and touched many others while on this journey we call life.
While expecting many health issues throughout his young life he faced each challenge
with the spirit of endurance and understanding. On June 22, 2024, God and his merciful
grace saw fit to call him to reward from labor. He shall forever be remembered by those
he touched while he walked amongst the land of the living.

Waiting for him in that new place are those who proceeded him in death Including his
parents Sophia and Steve Stevens, Uncle: Imani McKinney, Grandmother: Judy Blocker
and Great Grandmother: Georgia Mae Jacobs.

He leaves with fond memories of a life well lived: Great Uncle: Felman Reddick Sr.,
Great- Aunts: Shirley Johnson, Thelma Johnson and Margaret Turner, Bonus Parents:
Everett and Sharon Jackson, God Mothers: Mary Harris, Venda Ray Johnson, Carrie
Johnson and Marlo Tate, Step Grandfather: Harold McKinney, favorite cousin: J'Kirby
Wright and a host of dedicated friends and other sorrowing relatives.
