Portia
Blutcher
Mar 22, 1956 — Aug 2, 2026
Miami
A Life Begins Portia Robinson was born on March 22, 1956, in Birmingham, Alabama, to
Wilma Walden (Blutcher) Step-Father Homer Walden. From an early age, Portia filled the lives
of those around her with joy, laughter, and warmth. She attended Miami Central High School
and later devoted herself to caring for her home and family as a homemaker. Portia also worked
for five years as a customer service cashier at P&A Supermarket, where her warm personality
and love for people made a lasting impression.
A Heart for God and Others Portia’s Christian values were reflected in the way she loved,
served, welcomed, and cared for others. Her faith in Jesus Christ gave her strength and shaped
the generous way she lived.
The Joy She Shared Portia knew how to bring people together. She loved to cook, host parties,
laugh, and fill her home with family and friends. Her table was a place of good food, joyful
conversation, and lasting memories. Some of the things she especially loved were music, and
dancing.
Portia leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Arche Robinson; her sons,
Jonathan Blutcher (Cataina) and Andre Blutcher (Ebony); and her stepsons, Lakeyf
Robinson (Amber) and Nakia Robinson (Shenika).
She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Roneisha, Jawan Johnson, Andre
Blutcher Jr., Tristan, Trishelle, Latroy, Nakia Jr., Lakeyf Jr., and Payton Robinson; as
well as her precious great-granddaughter, Kaliyah Johnson. Each of them will forever
carry her love, joyful spirit, and treasured memories in their hearts.
Portia leaves to cherish her loving memory her siblings: Valerie Dixon, Darletha
Walden, Pricilla Walden, Patrick Walden, and Lanoris Walden. She was preceded in
death by her beloved sister, Dell Blutcher, who passed away in January 2026.
The family extends a heartfelt special thank-you to Portia’s dear friend, Sonny, and her
goddaughter, Carrie Smith. Your love, friendship, care, and support meant so much to
Portia and our entire family. We sincerely thank you for all that you have done.
A Lasting Legacy Portia will be remembered for her joyful spirit, and the love she freely
shared. Although we will miss her deeply, we rejoice in knowing that she is resting in the
presence of the Lord. The love she placed in our hearts and around our tables will remain with us
forever.
