Nakevea "Nicky" Davis aka Da
Diamond Diva was known for her
infectious personality and boundless
energy, Nicky had a passion for life
that was truly contagious. Her earthly
journey began on June 17, 1983, in
Miami, Florida to Erica Davis & the
late Joesph Climpson. She brought such
pride and joy to her parents as the third
child born of five daughters.
Nicky was educated in the Miami-Dade
County Public School System. She was
a proud graduate of Miami
Northwestern Senior High class of
2001, where she participated in dance.
Following graduation, Nicky attended
Johnson & Wales University where she
graduated with her associate degree.
Giving her life to the Lord at an early
age, Nicky was a member of New
Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church in
Miami, FL.
Nicky dedicated her life to her children
and family, creating a warm and loving
home filled with laughter and cherished
memories. She was known for her
vibrant spirit and love for celebration.
Nicky was the life of every party. She
had a heart as big as her smile and
never missed an opportunity to throw a celebration for her family and friends.
She decorated her home to celebrate
every holiday and brought joy to those
around her.
In addition to being a devoted mother,
Nakevea was a social media sensation,
with a large following that reflected the
impact she had on others. Her ability to
connect with people and spread
positivity was truly remarkable.
Nakevea leaves to cherish her memory,
her loving mom, Erica Davis; Five
children: Ricky McKnight, Richaun
McKnight, Rickquia McKnight,
Racquel Jackson, and London Jackson;
Four sisters, Katina Waters (Timothy
Waters, IV), Tameka Outler, Erica
Climpson, and Josealena Climpson; A
special brother, Marcus Harp; Niece,
Rakayla Laing; Nephews, Brandon
Croissy, Timothy Waters Jr., and
Marcus Harp Jr.; Close cousins,
Stephanie Holmes and Michelle Wade;
Two best friends, Denise Bennett and
Miriam Nesbit; and a host of family
and friends.
