Obituary

Karma Damaris Williams made an exciting entrance into the world, on December
12th, 2016 in Punta Gorda, Florida, through an at home water birth. Karma, of South
Florida, made her transition on May 9th, 2025 at 11:11 pm.
Karma was born with a rare genetic mutation,, called the PIGG gene. She was
the third person born with in, but was the only known survivor to make it past the
age of one. Along with her gene mutation came many other underlying conditions,
including but not limited to: global developmental delay, cerebral palsy, sickle cell,
rare seizures, muscular dystrophy, bilateral blindness, sleep apnea, sensory
processing disorder, dysphagia, & G-tube dependency.
However, despite these conditions, Karma was an extremely strong little princess
who never failed to display mind blowing endurance and perseverance, even up
until her last breath. Throughout the course of her life, Karma has undergone
physical therapy, standing therapy, feeding therapy, and has even learned a small
amount of sign language; her favorite word to sign being "eat".
Karma was a bubbly and loving little girl, who loved to giggle and blow raspberries.
She also loved to cuddle and play with her toes. Karma had a smile that could
brighten up the darkest of rooms, and brought immense joy to all those around.
Karma is predeceased by her mother Star Williams, & leaves behind to cherish her
memories: father Anthony Hamilton, Florida; siblings Déjà Williams, Ayamahdi
Hamilton, Emmanuel 'Tre' Riles, Kamaul Riles, & Micah Riles; maternal great
grandmother Grace Lewis, New Jersey; grandmother Pauline Johnson, New Jersey;
grandfathers Joseph Williams, Jamaica; & Cecil Johnson, New Jersey; uncles Harold
Halstead, New Jersey; Cecil Johnson Jr, New Jersey; Rohan Williams, Jamaica; aunts

Tennessee; Tonya Hatchell, North Carolina; Alexus Williams, Pennsylvania; & God
Mother Tashyan Lysaith, Florida. She is also survived by many more aunts, uncles,
cousins, family members, & friends.
