James Lee Thomas Jr. better known as "JT" was born on January 29,1959 in Miami, Florida to the late Shirley Louise Thomas and late James Lee Thomas Sr. better known as Jm. James Jr was the 3rd child of 4 children born in this union

He received his education in the Miami Dade County School System at Miami Central Senior High School. He went on to play football At  Alcorn State and then transferred to Delaware State.

On August 14,2022 , Our Heavenly Father  called James Lee Thomas Jr. Home to Glory With His legacy James Lee Thomas Jr is survived by his loving wife: Rebecca Browne-Thomas (2) sisters: Marvice Chamber (Arusla), Donnis Repress (Daryl), Children: Tenika Davis, Shaunte Thomas and Imari Thomas (mother, Shirley Thomas), Stepchildren: Exerella Sears, Edwandra Browne, one nephew, Ahamd Thomas (Skylar), 13 grandchildren, 1great grand child, 5 aunts, 1 great nephew, 2 great nieces and a host of cousins and friends.
