Obituary

The Life of Ms. Gwendolyn Rosetta Dorsett began on November 10, 1961 in Miami Florida Her mother, Lillie Mae Dorsett and father, Leroy Coaxum Jr. both preceded her in death. She was the sixth child of seven children from her mother and father. Three of her siblings preceded her in death, Russell Bailey, Leroy Dorsett, and Fannie Mae Dorsett. After sixty years pf a cherished and fulfilled life, God called her home on August 2,2022 She graduated from Miami Jackson High School. Her latest occupation was security until her health prevented her from continuing employment. Her greatest joys were cooking and feeding anyone that wanted or needed a meal. She enjoyed fishing, cleaning and socializing with family and friends. She loved the Miami Dolphins. Her smile and cheerful spirit will be truly missed. She will be gone from our midst but never from our hearts. She leaves to cherish her memories, three children Adrian Dorsett , Tiffany Guyton, and Shuglavia Dorsett. four sisters Diane McKnight Dorsett, Lynette Dorsett, Sabrina Dorsett, All of Miami Florida, Pamela Van (Edward), McDonough GA, three brothers, Victor Coaxum (Velva), Locust Grove, GA. Terence Coaxum (Livia), McDonough GA, and Darian Coaxum (Darline), Locust Grove, GA, five grandchildren Atravia Donald, Antwan Hall Asia Dorsett, Anthony Hall, Corey Jones Jr, 1 great grandchild, Kristian Presslety, a devoted stepmother, Rose Coaxum, a significant other of 27 years the love of her life Mr. Carlton Peterson. And her favorite niece "Tatar" Shalonda Dennis who helped encourage and uplifted her during her time of illness, a host of nephews, nieces and abundance of other relatives and friends
