Edward Nathaniel
Van Jr
Nov 26, 1993 — Oct 30, 2022
The life of Mr. Edward Nathaniel Van, Jr. aka "Lil E" began on November 26, 1993 in Miami, Florida. After twenty-eight years, GOD had a plan that we were not ready for and called him home on October 30, 2022. He was the oldest child of four children from his mother, Alicia Lewis and the only child from his Father, Edward Van, Sr. with an extended family of one step sister and two step brothers. He attended school in the Miami-Dade County Public School System and was employed at Checkers up until his death. "Lil E" (as everyone referred to him as) loved spending time with his son, his family, and friends. If anyone was hosting a celebration, we could count on him to be there. He was a jokester and always smiling. Even through difficult times, he
would always find a way to keep his head up and encourage others to do the same. He always felt he had to protect any and everyone that was near and dear to him. We will truly miss his smile, the phone calls, check-ins, favors, and the pep talks. His grandparents, Alberta Lewis and John Fisher, Aunt, Gail Brown, and Uncle,
Billy Brown all preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories, one Son, Edward Massiah Van, a Loving Mother, Alicia Lewis, a Devoted Father, Edward Van, Sr. (Pamela), one Grandmother, Ella Mae Hurst, three sisters, Erica Phillips, Elicia Lewis, JairaJones, three brothers, Earl Lewis, James Jones II, Javon Jones, Two Aunts, Lorraine Epps, Veronica Hurst, Two Uncles, Torie Lewis (Le-Le), Darryl Epps
(Lorena), and an abundance of cousins, other relatives, friends, and the Love of hisLife, Tarkeshia Scott.
