He was born in Rockingham, North Carolina to the parents of Elisha Mike Sr. and
Juanita Dunnell Mike (preceded him in death). He grew up in Colquitt, Georgia
before moving to Miami, Florida while being a OTR Truck Driver. He had multiple
siblings; brothers whom (preceded him in death), Elisha Mike Jr., L J Mike, Charlie
Lewis Mike, Robert Mike, George Mike and David Mike, sisters whom (preceded
him in death), Thelma Lee Mike, Dorothy Louise Mike, Jimmie Lee Mike and
Shakina Mike, surviving sisters, Evelyn LaVerne Mike, Joenita Mike and Allison
Renee Mike.
He leaves to cherish his two daughters, Charmaine Mike-Kirkland and Shantell
Banks, one son Xavier Banks. His son/brother in law Kenyatta Kirkland. His twelve
grand children, Antoinette, Antoine, Chantura, Keirona, Shantrease, Tyrell,
Altoniya, Alton (precede him in death) Za'navia, Xavier Jr, Yaniah and Damarcus,
and eight great grand children. A host of nieces and nephews, his favorite nieces
Laverne Mike and Rosalyn Brown. His friends at Speedy's Grocery/Primos 3101
