Carolyn Annette
Houser
Jan 23, 1969 — Oct 25, 2022
As we celebrate the life of Carolyn Annette Houser, affectionately known to many as "Juicey", we rejoice today in her legacy and her contribution in fulfilling her purpose. Carolyn was born on January 23, 1969, the sixth of eight girls and four brothers, to her beloved mother, Ruby M. Houser of Cordele, Georgia, a Miami Beach private patient caregiver, in Miami, Florida. Mrs. Ruby, who preceded Carolyn in death on May 10, 1994, called this child of hers, "skinny legs." Carolyn's father, Eddie L. Reynolds, a very prominent Miami Grocery Manager at Jetro Cash & Carry, was her confidant until he preceded her in death on April 13th , 2019.Raised in Miami's Liberty City, Poinciana Park community, with her twelve siblings, she being the tenth of them all, Carolyn was encouraged to understand the value of hard work, education, faith, and being free to explore this thing called life, as she chooses, and that she did, as a hairstylist, a self-taught interior decorator, a fashion designer, retail store manager, and floral artist. Her artistry was beyond exceptional. Carolyn attended Poinciana Park Elementary and graduated from Hialeah High School. She was a devoted mother of three children, and a surrogate mother, grandmother, auntie, and godmother to countless children that landed on her doorsteps for help, shelter, food, and just pure love. Carolyn embraced everyone with open arms and an open heart.
On Tuesday, October 25, 2022, Carolyn Annette Houser transitioned as her purpose here on Earth was complete, and her soul was set free. The family prays that God, who was the greatest lover of her soul, came past, looked in her room, and with a smile and eyes pierced on her like a radiant sunbeam, said "It's time my child, follow me." Although Carolyn's journey was brief, it was purposeful as evidenced by her three bundles of blessings, her children starting with her eldest: Quentin Houser, her middle
child and only daughter Antionette Michelle Wims, and her forever baby and youngest son Cornelius Houser. You see, as they offspring, she will forever be represented on
Earth and throughout the ages.
