On July 14, 1982 Ashley Gerrard Gilbert was born to Viola Essie Robert and Eddie Lee Gilbert. He was their bundle of joy.  He was adored by his mother and the youngest of six children. He grew up in multiple cities, Marianna, Orlando, and Miami Florida. He attended Jackson County training, school in Marianna and Miami Norland Senior high school in Miami.

He held various jobs

Life as we know it came to an end for Ashley on Friday, February 21, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother Essie Robert's his father Eddie Gilbert and his niece kiarri Beach.

He leaves a lifetime of love and memories with one sister, Denise (Derrick ) four brother Jeffrey (Carol) Carl, Augustus and Charles. Three aunt Mrs. Ella Hooks (John) Mrs. Catherine Baskin (Billy) and Eva shavers. Two uncles William and Johnny Patterson. Nine nephews Prince, Kington, Tyberius, Libaron, Carl Jr, Khalil, Terrence, Kamyri, and Fredrick. Six nieces ka'princess, Queentonna, Kienna, Zuri, Saniya and Ry'yonna. A host of other relatives, friends and a special friend Rachelle Jones.
