Angeletha Denise Dempsey was born to the parentage of the late Alene Hall Symonette and Jake Taylor in Miami Florida on September 23, 1958. Angeletha attended The Dade County Public School System graduating FROM Booker T. Washington Sr. High School. Niecy as she was affectionately called by all who she knew and loved was a loving and gentle soul who lived life at its fullest.

Nicey embarked on her life journey working numerous jobs before she became a stay-at-home mother and grandmother. She met the love of her life Willie B. Dempsey and was vowed into holy matrimony later moving to Homestead Fl were she resided until her passing.

Niecy loved her family. The love she shared, the smiles and all the care will truly be missed. on March 1, 2025 Nicey heard the voice of her Heavenly Father called her home from labor to refreshment, shedding this earthly tabernacle gaining her new home in heaven.

She leaves behind to cherish her lasting memories in our hearts and minds: A devoted Husband Willie B. Dempsey Sr, Daughter Latroyal Taylor two sons Deoniza Dunwoody and Willie Dempsey Jr. Son in law Lamar Alexzander whom proceeded her in death. Siblings: Julius Scurry, Loretta Morris-Taylor, Sharon Taylor, Jason Taylor, Javris Taylor, Juanita Taylor, Jake Taylor Jr, Janelle Taylor, Jousha Taylor. Mother in law Lillie Mae Dempsey, Father in law Johnny Dempsey Sr Whom proceeded her in death. Grandson Jakaris Jones Granddaughter Arabella Dunwoody and Justice Alexander. Sister in law Lillie Ann Dempsey, Kim Dempsey and Tasha Dempsey. Brother-in-Law Johnny Dempsey Jr. Three God Daughters: Sarah Freeney, Janelle Freeney and Janae Freeney. Aunts Louise Hall Lewis ( John) of Albany Ga. Susan Hall Gibson and Barbra Jaudon both of miami Fl. Martha Hall Little (Larry) whom proceeded her in death. Uncles: Edward Hall Sr, and Willie T Hall both proceeded her in death. Grandparents Annie Louise Hall and Edward Hall Sr who proceeded her in death.
