Obituary

IN THE BEGINNING:
Allie Lee (Gordon) Thrower was born December 30, 1936 to Octavies and
Phillis Gordon in Gainesville, Florida. She graduated from Lincoln High
School in 1955 and married the love of her life William Luther Thrower in
1955. After graduating and getting married she and William moved to
Miami, Florida in 1961.
A TIME TO LEARN, WORK AND SERVE:
Allie began working at Jonathan and Logan in 1965 and served 15 years
there. She later was hired at Kopenheimer in 1980 and worked another 15
years. She retired in 1995 after 30 years and began a sewing business.
She enjoyed repairing garments, making wedding dresses, curtains,
reupholstering furniture, painting, She had a passion for sewing and
decorating.
HER LEGACY AND LEAVES TO CHERISH HER MEMORIES:
Her union to William she had three daughters, Jeanna Pryor (Nehemiah),
Ava Gilley and Kristina who preceded her in death, stepdaughter Janet
Johnson (George) who preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish fond
memories, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jeremy Pryor
(Christina), Brandon Pryor (Stephanie), Janeil Pryor, Matthew Gilley and Mark Gilley,
Great grandchildren: Kymani Gilley, Mark Gilley, Jr., Jason Reid-Gilley,
Xavier, Maya, Payton, Sophie, Charlotte,Annie, Justin, Asia, and Jaylen.
Additionally, her siblings, Altamese, Rachel, Oliver, Pearlie Mae, Dock, Joe
and Idella and Elnora who preceded her in death.
A TIME TO SAY GOODBYE:
Allie left to be with the lord on April 23, 2025.
